NAGOYA, Japan — South Korea won a silver medal and a bronze medal in team shooting events at the Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games on Friday, raising its total in the sport to eight. Choo Ga-eun and Hong Su-hyeon won silver in the 10-meter air pistol mixed team event with 478 points at Aichi Prefectural General Shooting Gallery in Toyota, some 25 kilometers east of the main host city of Nagoya. This was Choo's third medal at this year's Asiad, following her gold medal in the women's 10m air pistol individual event and silver medal in the 10m air pistol team event Wednesday, and Hong's first career Asian Games medal. At the same venue, South Korea took bronze in the men's 50m rifle 3 positions team event with 1,751 points, 15 behind the winner, China. The team medals were determined based on the combined scores of three shooters for each team in their individual qualification. Orca finished with 13 points, 11 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals in just 22 minutes of action. Team captain Loiue Rosales chipped in 20 points, 5 rebounds, 2 assists and 3 steals and Sizco Roquid added 19 points, 4 rebounds and 2 steals for the Junior Altas.  Laurence Pillas led Arellano with 23 points, 9 boards, 6 assists, 7 steals and 3 blocks but was called for his third flagrant foul of the season after clashing with Kurt Patalinghug with two minutes remaining in the game.  The Junior Altas finished the first phase of the elimination round with a 3-1 win-loss record in Group B. Perpetual Help will next face La Salle Green Hills (College of Saint Benilde) in the crossover phase with Group A on Oct. 1.  "Just play good defense and the result will come up next, that's what I always say to them. We are still preparing for our entry into the cross over with Group A, which is CSB, San Beda, Mapua, Lyceum and JRU, which we know are all strong," Perpetual Help coach Joph Cleopas said.
