The Elasto Painters nearly wasted a 13-point, fourth quarter lead as the Bossing staged a major uprising behind the trio of Sedric Barefield, Kentrell Barkley and RK Ilagan. In the end, Barefield missed a potential game-winning three which allowed ROS to improve to 5-3 and tie at second spot in Group B. Magnolia and Phoenix were the first two teams in Group B to secure spots in the quarterfinals. The fourth and final spot will now be up for grabs among Barangay Ginebra, Meralco, and Blackwater as the tournament winds down with its elimination round this coming week. Blackwater fell to 3-6. Aaron Fuller led ROS with 24 points and 19 rebounds, Caelan Tiongson added 22. Adrian Nocum had 20, while Felix Lemetti 17. Barkley led the Bossing with 35 points and 15 rebounds, while Barefield had 31. Meanwhile, Juami Tiongson and Maverick Ahanmisi led Terrafirma’s high-octane offense to roll past Titan Ultra, 149-117 to end its season 50 campaign on a winning note. Tiongson banged in 18 of his 30 points in the opening frame to set the tone for Terrafirma, which would go on to close the third conference with a 5-7 record. The Dyip ended the PBA’s golden anniversary season with 10 wins as against 25 losses.

UST finished the first round of the tournament with a 4-3 win-loss record, while Ateneo fell to 3-4 in the standings. After a win over the Akari Chargers, Creamline notched back-to-back wins with Tots Carlos’ 13-point outing, while Jema Galanza made a triple-double performance of 12 points, 12 excellent digs and 11 excellent receptions. Jia De Guzman made 16 excellent sets and chipped in five points for Creamline, also allowing  Bea De Leon and Bernadeth Pons to score eight points each. Galeries, which fell to Farm Fresh,  suffered its second consecutive loss in the tournament, but Erika Jin Deloria made a promising 21-point performance, along with 10 excellent receptions PVL 2026 No.1 rookie pick Lams Lamina made nine excellent sets in the match.

The Twins and the Tigers are facing off in the best-of-five first round in the Korea Baseball Organization (KBO) postseason, starting Saturday at Gwangju-Kia Champions Field in the southwestern city of Gwangju.
