Bulldogs bite Falcons, take 4th straight win

MANILA, Philippines -- National University dominated Adamson, 79-43, at the Ateneo Blue Eagle Gym Saturday for its fourth straight win in the UAAP Season 89 men's basketball tournament. After a 20-19 first quarter lead, the Bulldogs held the Soaring Falcons to just 24 points the rest of the way while scoring 59 points to raise their win-loss record to 6-2 for a share of the lead with the UP Fighting Maroons. NU limited Adamson to just five points to seize a 40-24 lead at the half and dominate for the remainder of the contest. Tebol Garcia led the Bulldogs with 14 points, six assists, and five rebounds. The Falcons dropped to 4-4 and created a 5-way tie from third to seventh places.
