Scottsdale BHRT Pellet Therapy For Men With Low Testosterone & Fatigue Launched

Nov 13, 2023

Summary

Get Well Scottsdale has updated its bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT) services to address low testosterone symptoms in men. The hormone pellet therapy offered by the healthcare team targets andropause symptoms and also provides protection against conditions such as arthritis, cardiovascular disease, and osteoporosis.

Low testosterone and andropause, which primarily affect men aged 40 and above, can lead to cognitive and sexual function issues, low libido, depression, insomnia, infertility, reduced bone density, and a slower metabolism. Healthline reports that up to 5 million American men may be experiencing low testosterone, with 39% of older men having significantly low levels. The effects of low testosterone can also increase the risk of more serious conditions like osteoporosis and weakened immunity against disease.

Get Well Scottsdale's HRT treatment involves implanting a small pellet beneath the patient's skin, releasing hormones gradually into the body. This treatment alleviates andropause symptoms for approximately 5 months, eliminating the need for daily pills or creams.

Using blood test data, Get Well Scottsdale tailors the pellet dosage to deliver the optimal amount of bio-identical testosterone. The pellets contain plant-derived hormones that are biologically identical to those produced naturally by the body, minimizing side effects and promoting effective absorption. Patients who receive BHRT treatment report increased energy levels, libido, and muscle mass.

Get Well Scottsdale is led by Dr. Nicole Turcotte, who holds doctorates in nutrition and naturopathy. Alongside BHRT, the practice offers functional medicine treatment plans for erectile dysfunction, hypothyroidism, and fibromyalgia.

With the latest service update, the healthcare team can customize BHRT (bio-identical hormone replacement therapy) treatment plans to combat low testosterone and andropause. Most common in men aged 40 or above, these conditions can affect cognitive and sexual functions, manifest as low libido or depression, cause insomnia and infertility, reduce bone density, and slow the metabolism.

According to Healthline, up to 5 million American men could be experiencing low testosterone, with reports showing as many as 39% of older men have significantly low levels. While testosterone naturally decreases in men after age 30, the effects of low testosterone can put the health of sufferers at risk, causing more serious conditions such as osteoporosis and poor immunity against disease.

Get Well Scottsdale’s HRT treatment involves implanting a pellet the size of a grain of rice beneath the patient's skin, which slowly releases hormones into the body. This will alleviate the effects of andropause for around 5 months, eliminating the need for daily pills or creams that may otherwise be forgotten.

Using blood test data to identify hormonal deficiencies, Get Well Scottsdale will tailor the pellet dosage so that it delivers the optimal amount of bio-identical testosterone into the bloodstream.

The pellet contains plant-derived hormones biologically identical to the ones naturally produced by the body, minimizing adverse side effects and promoting effective absorption. BHRT patients report increased energy levels, libido, and muscle mass after their treatment.

Russia to host 2030 world weightlifting champs in Olympic federation first

PARIS, France — Moscow was announced Sunday as host of the 2030 world weightlifting championships, the sport's governing body becoming the first Olympic federation to hand Russia global staging rights since 2022. No world championships in an Olympic sport, summer or winter, have been held in Russia since the start of the war against Ukraine. The 2025 world swimming champs, initially attributed to the Russian city of Kazan, were moved to Singapore. "Concerning the IWF (Senior) World Championships in 2029, it will be staged in Ahmedabad (India), and Moscow (Russia) will host the 2030 edition," the International Weightlifting Federation (IWF) said in a statement. IWF general secretary Jose Quinones added that "all the bids we received were excellent and we are sure that the championships in your respective countries will be a huge success". In a post on Telegram, Russian Weightlifting Federation president Aleksandr Vinokurov thanked the IWF "for their trust", with the 2030 world champs also serving as a qualifying event for the 2032 Olympic Games. "Russia has all the necessary experience and capabilities to host competitions of the highest level," he said. "Moscow has repeatedly staged major international sporting events and has modern infrastructure." The federation toasted its success in snagging the hosting rights. "The Russian Weightlifting Federation is the first Olympic sports federation to succeed in bringing a top-level official competition back to the country in many years," it said. The decision to name Moscow as the host is a ground-breaking one and comes in the wake of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) announcing a pathway for Russian athletes to compete in international competition. A state-sponsored doping program implemented, according to the World Anti-Doping Agency, at the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympic Games, and the assault on Ukraine launched by President Vladimir Putin in 2022 resulted in Russians competing in various guises at international competition, most recently as Individual Neutral Athletes. However, on July 7 Russia came in from the cold when the IOC eased restrictions on Russian athletes and opened a pathway for them to compete in qualifying events for the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics. A furious Ukraine filed an appeal to the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) requesting that the IOC decision be annulled.
