He then went on to perform his internship at Mount Sinai Medical Center, and his residency in orthopedic surgery at the University of Nebraska Medical Center.
A Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, the doctor is board-certified in orthopedic surgery by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery (ABOS). The ABOS is an organization with the goal of establishing educational and professional standards for orthopedic residents and surgeons as well as evaluating the qualifications and competence of orthopedic surgeons.
Having conducted research on the osteoprogenitor effects of bone marrow cells and their ability to aid fracture healing, Dr. Guse is extremely interested in staying up-to-date with the latest orthopedic techniques to treat child and adult fractures.
