Raleigh R&B Festival, Band & DJ Shows August 2023 Ticket Sale Announced

The Secret Garden Soiree, Raleigh’s annual R&B music event, is scheduled for August 26th and 27th. Tickets are currently available on Eventbrite.

Brought by event coordinator Darryl Dungee, also known as FollowTheDJ, the Secret Garden Soiree will be held at Fred Fletcher Park in Raleigh. Dubbed “The Ultimate R&B Experience”, the music festival promises an impressive lineup of bands and DJs, interactive activities, delicious local food and drinks, and a fun picnic-like experience.

The Secret Garden Soiree is a BYOC event, and as such, the organizers invite all festivalgoers to bring their most comfortable lawn chairs or picnic blankets. Early arrival is also advised; “By arriving early, attendees can secure their preferred location and fully immerse themselves in the extraordinary atmosphere of the festival,” added Darryl Dungee.

Open from 12 Noon to 8 pm on August 26th and 27th, the festival will include performances by MJB Tribute Band and The Junkyard Band, among others. Festivalgoers will also have the opportunity to participate in many interactive activities, including the Don’t Forget the Lyrics Challenge and the Beer Pong Tournament.

The Secret Garden Soiree festival organizers believe that this celebration of music is also an excellent opportunity to celebrate and support local businesses. To that end, they have partnered with Raleigh's favorite food trucks, artisans, and vendors. Festivalgoers will be able to savor some of Raleigh's finest BBQ food and desserts, and shop handmade soaps, jewelry, and art.

The Secret Garden Soiree is wheelchair-accessible, with free parking available nearby. However, with a high number of festivalgoers, the parking is expected to fill up fast, so Uber and Lyft are recommended as an alternative.
