New Website Now Connects Homeowners With Local HVAC Contractors

Jan 3, 2020

January 03, 2020 - /PressAdvantage/ - Louisville, Kentucky based My Trusted Contractor is pleased to announce the launch of their new website that connects homeowners to a number of top rated HVAC companies in Louisville and the surrounding areas. The new site is designed to offer online users quick and easy access to a comprehensive directory of the most trusted and established heating and cooling system contractors in the greater Kentucky area.

The newly launched website was developed by Plumbers Supply Co, a locally owned plumbing company with almost 100 years of industry experience, with the goal being to recommend some of the most trusted and reliable contractors that they have worked with over the years. In the pursuit of this goal, Plumbers Supply Co came up with the idea to create an online platform where homeowners can identify the top contractors in the area based on certifications, customer service, professionalism, and industry qualifications.

Scott Ritchey, a company representative, says, “We vet all of our contractors to guarantee our customers receive the most professional and qualified service available. Each of our certified contractors must carry current industry licenses, pass extensive training courses, and routinely complete ongoing courses.” He points out that the HVAC contractors listed on the site are also vetted to ensure excellent workmanship and high quality service. In addition, all of the companies listed are fully insured and licensed to provide a full range of HVAC related services, including system repairs, new system installation, routine maintenance, and more.

Ritchey explains that each HVAC contractor is required to present a Master HVAC Contractor License, which can only be acquired after completing extensive training to become a Journeyman HVAC Mechanic, followed by at least two years of general supervision under a master HVAC Contractor. The company strictly observes and reinforces EPA Section 608 – Type III as well, which requires all technicians with access to a system or container that could potentially release ozone-depleting refrigerants into the atmosphere to hold a Section 608 Technician Certification. All contractors are required to have Type III certification, permitting them to service and dispose of low-pressure appliances. Finally, they require HVAC companies to have A/C Technical Training | HVACCEC-10266, Furnace Training | HVACCEC-10265 and Heat Pump Training | HVACCEC-10268.

Meanwhile, plumbing contractors who are invited to join the website’s ranks must hold a Master Plumber Contractor License awarded by the state. To obtain the license, plumbers must show a significant number of years of work experience, including time working under a Master Plumber. Additionally, plumbing contractors must complete at least six hours of continuing education and training each year to ensure that their methods and equipment are up to date.

Homeowners looking for a professional and trusted HVAC and plumbing contractor may visit https://www.mytrustedcontractor.com/ to get started. The website offers simple search methods, including grouping contractors by city and state, and an interactive map that helps users filter contractors based on their location. Visitors to the website simply need to input their location and browse from exclusive list of expert companies to find the perfect contractor for the job they want carried out.

My Trusted Contractor also ensures that all of their partner companies maintain their licenses and all other industry requirements. By working with the contractors at My Trusted Contractor, homes and businesses are fully insured and protected by some of the best warranties in the market. Notably, My Trusted Contractor points out that, in order to better serve their customers, every company they include on their online directory is handpicked and added by invitation only.

On the other hand, Plumbers Supply Co advises homeowners to choose York, an award-winning manufacturer of American-made HVAC systems, due to their unparalleled dedication to providing energy efficient and state-of-the-art HVAC systems. They also state that York products are backed by some of the best limited warranties in the business. Given that these warranties lead the industry in covering parts and key mechanical components, customers can rest assured knowing they’ve made the best decision for their homes and businesses.

Complete details can be found on the newly launched website. Alternatively, interested parties may connect with My Trusted Contractor through their official social media pages to stay up to date with their latest news and important announcements.

The Cebu leg offered four race distances: 5K, 10K, 16K and 21K as competitive runners shared the course with families, friends, employees, partners, and other members of the community. Mark Mahinay won the men’s 16K, followed by Nickson Kosgei and Jerome Casinillo. Michelle Zamora topped the women’s 16K, with Lyn-nel Martus second and Abigael Jerop third. Jane Pangalao topped the women’s 5K, followed by Gretchen Sambo and Ziane Ysabelle Villarico. PalawanPay organized the event with RunRio and the UP Office of Athletics and Sports Development.  The three-leg series also carries a fundraising component that will support the purchase of fully equipped emergency ambulances for underserved communities in Aklan and South Cotabato. Palawan Group of Companies chose Cebu as the opening venue partly because of its established operations in the province. The company has 295 Palawan branches and more than 1,500 Cebuano partners and associates in Cebu. “Bringing the Trilogy to Cebu is another way for us to be part of the community, not just in the services we provide every day, but also in activities that promote health, wellness, and time together,” said Lisa Castro-Sabado, chief business development officer of Palawan Group of Companies.   The company also used the Trilogy to continue its grassroots sports programs, which include tennis, basketball, aside from running. The Trilogy will move to Palawan for its second leg on Oct. 18 before concluding in Manila on Nov. 28.

POC chief says surpassing gold medal target still possible

Philippine Olympic Committee (POC) president Abraham “Bambol” Tolentino is confident the country would surpass its target of four gold medals in the 20th Asian Games in Nagoya, Japan. Speaking to reporters on Thursday, Tolentino said the country still has a strong chance in multiple disciplines, including jiu-jitsu and judo. “There are still three days until Sunday morning. Last 3 days, still hoping for more golds,” he said.   His bold prediction, however, took a hit Thursday afternoon when top seed Alex Eala lost in women's tennis semifinals and settled for the bronze.  At the previous Asian Games in Hangzhou, China, the Philippines finished with four gold medals from pole vaulter EJ Obiena, jiu-jitsu fighters Annie Ramirez and Meggie Ochoa, and the Gilas Pilipinas men’s basketball team. At press time, the Philippines has three gold medals, one from Obiena and two from Carlos Yulo. Tokyo Olympic silver medalist and pugilist Carlo Paalam and the jiu-jitsu fighters, including Ramirez and Kaila Napolis are still in the hunt for a gold medal. “God willing. Fellow Filipinos, let's pray for our athletes at Team Philippines. They’re still on the qualification stage. That’s why we can still surpass the four, hopefully,” Tolentino said. The POC chief earlier said that their target was to win four gold medals — later increased to eight — for this edition of the Asian Games. The closing ceremony is set to be held on Sunday with Japan handing over the Olympic Council of Asia flag to Doha, Qatar, which will host the quadrennial event for the second time in 2030.
