U.S.-based automotive care brand opens its Black Friday discount to certified PPF installers, window film professionals, and ceramic coating specialists globally.

New York City, New York Nov 6, 2026 (Issuewire.com) - Luminous, a U.S.-based premium automotive care brand, has announced its biggest commercial promotion of the year: a 15% discount across its full professional car care range throughout November 2026. The offer is available to professional installers and car care centers, allowing Luminous partners to expand their inventory of paint protection film, ceramic coatings, automotive window film, and highly concentrated detailing products ahead of one of the most commercially active periods in the car care calendar.

A full-month Black Friday offer built for professional car care businesses

Unlike standard Black Friday promotions limited to a single day or weekend, Luminous is extending its 15% discount across the entire month of November, giving professional installers and car care businesses the time and flexibility to plan inventory decisions without pressure, evaluate their product needs for the coming season, and stock up on the professional-grade solutions their customers are already asking for.

The November discount applies to Luminous' complete range of vehicle protection products, including:

  • Paint protection film (PPF): including Phantom PPF, Superior PPF - TPU, Matte PPF - TPU, and PPF Prime - TPU, engineered for professional PPF installers who demand reliable, consistent installation results and long-term paint protection performance

  • Professional ceramic coatings: formulated for certified ceramic coating specialists seeking durable hydrophobic protection, UV resistance, and enhanced gloss that outlasts traditional wax alternatives

  • Automotive window film: including Ceramic Plus, an advanced high-clear nano ceramic window film delivering up to 94% Total Solar Energy Rejection (TSER), 99% UV protection, and 97% infrared rejection, alongside the Carbon Window Film range for professionals offering premium automotive window tinting across multiple market segments

  • Detailing and car care products: the complete Luminous professional detailing range, including cleaning chemicals, surface dressings, shampoos, and finishing products

Why November matters for professional car care businesses

For car care professionals managing inventory and service capacity heading into Q1, November represents the ideal window to replenish stock, expand product offerings, and position the business for growth in the new year. Whether adding a new TPU paint protection film to an existing PPF installation menu, expanding into nano ceramic window tinting, or broadening a ceramic coating service with professional-grade products backed by manufacturer support, the 15% November discount makes this the most cost-effective moment of the year to act.

"Black Friday is one of the most significant commercial moments of the year, and we wanted to make sure our partners, not just end consumers, benefit from it in a meaningful way," said W. Mari, International Sales Director at Luminous. "A full month at 15% off across our entire range gives every professional installer and car care center the time to make considered inventory decisions rather than rushed ones. This is about helping our partners enter the new year better stocked, better positioned, and more competitive in their markets."

Strengthening the Luminous partner network ahead of the new year

The November promotion is also an opportunity for new car care professionals to experience the Luminous product range for the first time at a reduced entry cost, evaluating professional-grade PPF, ceramic coating, and automotive window film solutions before committing to a long-term partnership.

For existing Luminous partners, the 15% discount reinforces the commercial value of an authorized dealer or certified installer relationship with Luminous, a brand committed to supporting its partners not only through product quality and technical guidance, but through meaningful commercial incentives at the right moments in the business calendar.

"We invest in our partners year-round, through installer certification, product training, free samples, and expert consultation," Mari added. "The November promotion is an extension of that commitment. We want our partners to walk into 2027 with the right products on their shelves and the confidence to offer their customers the best paint protection film, ceramic coating, and window film solutions available in the professional market."

Olivarez rallies past Damian, sets up title clash with Tangub in National Open

MANILA, Philippines — Eric Olivarez overcame a second-set stumble to reassert his dominance over Noel Damian, scoring a 6-2, 4-6, 6-2 victory to book his place in the finals of the Mayor Edwin Olivarez National Open Tennis Championships on Friday at the Olivarez Sports Center in Sucat. After cruising through the opening set, the top-seeded Olivarez found himself in a tougher battle as Damian raised his level and forced a tense exchange of service holds. Damian held serve in the ninth game before breaking Olivarez in the next, rallying from a 15-40 deficit by winning four straight points to snatch the second set and even the match. But the setback proved only a temporary interruption for the Western Michigan product, who regrouped and regained control in the decider. Olivarez broke Damian in the third game and steadily tightened his grip on the match, keeping his opponent on the defensive. After conceding the seventh game, Olivarez responded with a decisive burst of four straight points to build a commanding 5-2 cushion before closing out the match in the next game. Standing between Olivarez and the championship crown is Eric Jay Tangub, who secured the other finals berth with a 6-1, 6-4 victory over unranked Richard Bautista. Olivarez and Tangub will dispute the title and the top P100,000 prize when they clash at 9 a.m. Saturday in the P415,000 tournament, which features the country's leading campaigners alongside a promising crop of emerging talents. Olivarez reached the championship round after beating David Abordo, 6-4, 6-1, overpowering Marraphael Teng, 6-2, 6-3, and routing veteran Vicente Anasta, 6-1, 6-1. Tangub, meanwhile, opened his campaign with a 6-0, 6-0 demolition of Gurkan Nasilbilirsen, followed by a 6-2, 6-0 triumph over James Aquino and a 6-4, 6-3 victory over Loucas Fernandez. Olivarez is also in contention for a men's doubles championship after teaming up with Nilo Ledama to eliminate Evan Bacalso and McLeen Gomera. They will next face Al-Zayeed Baid and Elvin Geluz, who defeated Anasta and Jerome Bernales, 6-3, 6-3. In the other doubles semifinal, Damian and Brysl Libao advanced with a 6-2, 6-4 win over Austin delos Santos and Dos Gaddi. They will take on Tangub and Bautista, who survived John Benedict Aguilar and Rolly Saga, 6-3, 5-7, 10-8. Beyond the competition, the annual National Open reflects the Olivarez family's sustained commitment to strengthening Philippine tennis through consistent support for tournaments that give players opportunities to compete, improve and measure their skills against quality opposition. Sponsored by Mayor Edwin Olivarez and Rep. Eric Olivarez, the championship provides an important platform for established campaigners to maintain their competitive edge while giving emerging players the exposure and experience needed to advance their careers. Through initiatives such as this, the Olivarez family continues to contribute to the growth of the sport by helping broaden its competitive base and sustain opportunities for the country's next generation of tennis talents. Wembanyama overcomes illness, injury in historic outing as Spurs top Mavs for sixth straight win

SAN ANTONIO — Victor Wembanyama was battling a virus, rolled his ankle in the fourth quarter and does not believe he is playing his best. All of which made the San Antonio Spurs star's historic outing against the Dallas Mavericks even that more astounding. After establishing a league milestone in the first half, Wembanyama finished with career highs of 52 points and 24 rebounds along with eight blocks to lead the Spurs past the Mavericks 112-111 on Wednesday night. Wembanyama had 29 points, 15 rebounds and five blocks in the first half to become the first player since the NBA’s play-by-play era began in 1996-1997 with at least 25 points, 10 rebounds and five blocks in a half. "He’s Superman,” Spurs point guard Dylan Harper said. "I mean, he rolls his ankle and pops right up and acts like nothing happened. I’ve never seen nothing like that, but that’s just a testament to how he takes care of his body, how he focuses on his mobility, treatment, all that. So he’s able to do things like that.” San Antonio was plus-23 when Wembanyama was on the court. The 7-foot-4 center from France was 16 for 28 from the field, including seven dunks, but 1 for 8 on 3-pointers. "I can still do more,” Wembanyama said. "I mean, my shots weren’t falling tonight and that forces me into a style of play that is exhausting. I can do it. I mean the proof is here. I can do it, but I can be much better if my shots fall. I know it’s just a matter of time.” Still, three days after being named the Western Conference Player of the Week, Wembanyama presented a strong case for a repeat. "I hope so,” Wembanyama said. "The goal is to get it every week.” The Spurs have won six straight and swept a three-game homestand. San Antonio has not lost since dropping the season's first two games to Oklahoma City and Houston. Wembanyama has averaged 32.5 points during the streak despite being under the weather with a virus. "I haven’t been feeling great lately,” Wembanyama said. "I’ve been sick for a while and today I felt like I got my legs back. So it should be more like this, more often.” He certainly looked spry to open the game. Wembanyama scored 10 of San Antonio's first 12 points, powering down two dunks and draining all six free-throw attempts. He closed the first quarter with 15 points, nine rebounds, two blocks, two steals and an assist. After capturing his ninth rebound, Wembanyama dribbled behind his back at Dallas’ 3-point line to avoid Walter Clayton Jr., drove between two defenders for a one-handed dunk and then stood in the paint screaming in celebration. "He was making an impact for his team," said Mavericks guard Kyrie Irving, who missed a 15-footer with three seconds remaining. "You can see his aggression has been raising over the past few games.” The onslaught continued in the second quarter. Wembanyama had three blocks in 13 seconds on the same possession, sending shots by Cooper Flagg and P.J. Washington flying out of bounds before his third was captured by De’Aaron Fox with 3:38 remaining in the first half. Wembanyama rolled his ankle after stepping on Clayton's foot, exiting with 9:11 remaining in the game. He spent the next several minutes stretching his foot and ankle on the bench before returning with 6:05 remaining. "I mean the moment that stands out for some reason. I don’t have any agenda I want to say, but it’s when I rolled my ankle,” Wembanyama said. The Spurs certainly needed their All-Star in the final minutes. Wembanyama had two putbacks in the final 2:39. He missed his first three free throws in the final 2:10, but made one with 24 seconds left for the final margin of victory.
