Federated Mint Proud to Offer Unsearched Vault Bags Loaded with Valuable Government-Issued Coins

Nov 7, 2020

As part of this deal, buyers will be getting bags loaded with more than two pounds of US government-issued coins

Massillon, OH - November 6, 2020 /MarketersMedia/ —

Since its inception, Federated Mint has been firmly committed to offering its clients the best possible deals at attractive prices, and more than 75,000 satisfied customers attest to its success in that endeavor. The company is a leader in the industry and is now pleased to announce that it is putting back in circulation US government-issued coins some of which date back to the 1800s. For collectors across the United States, the opportunity to own these valuable coins presents itself through a compelling offer for unsearched vault bags.

“The residents of specific zip code areas are being given a unique chance to grab scarce coins of high collectible value,” says Federated Mint. “Since we anticipate the demand to greatly exceed our supply, we have decided to extend this special offer to US citizens who are eligible as per a distribution list covering certain zip codes in a given state. Those who qualify have 48 hours after the publication of our advertisement to call the National Toll-Free Hotline and snatch some of these vault bags at a bargain price.”

As part of this deal, buyers will be getting bags loaded with more than two pounds of US government-issued coins, among them some that are over a century old and worth as much as 50 times their face value. These include highly sought-after or extremely rare collectibles such as the Silver Walking Liberty Half Dollar, President Eisenhower Dollars, Silver Franklin Half Dollars, President Kennedy Silver Half Dollars, Silver Standing Liberty Quarter Dollar, American Bicentennial Quarters, Liberty V Nickels, the Indian Head one cent coin, and the last ever minted Buffalo Nickels. Those who make the deadline will benefit from a vault bag fee of just $249 while the amount for the rest has been set at $349, Federated Mint points out.

As with any purchase in the world of coins and collectibles, prospective buyers always wonder about the value of the unsearched vault bags. But the truth is that it’s impossible to predict since coin values always fluctuate, and collectors cannot rely on guarantees. However, Federated Mint can say with certainty that every unsearched bag weighs more than two pounds and is known to contain at least one silver Walking Liberty coin, and that coin alone could be worth $15 to $325 in collector value. As Federated Mint notes, these bags have been securely sealed and the dates were never searched since they were loaded, so there is no telling what other valuable finds are in store for their new owners.

Coin and collectible giant, Federated Mint operates from headquarters in Massillon, OH, specializing in collectible coins, currency, and precious metal products. The company typically notifies prospective buyers of its various offers through full-page advertisements printed in papers nationwide. Federated Mint is not affiliated with any United States government agency or bank.

Asian Cup in Saudi Arabia could be postponed but 'no hurry' to decide — AFC

ZURICH — The Asian Cup scheduled for January in Saudi Arabia could be moved back a year to 2028 "if we need to," the continent's top football official said, following a series of Houthi attacks on the country. But AFC president Sheikh Salman bin Ebrahim al-Khalifa also said they were in "no hurry" to make a decision over Asia's premier football tournament. The 2027 Asian Cup is supposed to kick off on January 7 in the Saudi cities of Jeddah, Riyadh and Al Khobar. The kingdom has in recent days come under sustained attack in a dramatic escalation in the war with the Iran-backed Houthi group. "We can wait until the end of November," the Asian Football Confederation president told reporters in Zurich on Wednesday about a decision on the fate of the Asian Cup. "Things can change very quickly for better or worse in the region and it is a question of seeing what happens," he added. "If we need to make a decision then we will, but we could move back a year to 2028 if we need to. "But at the moment we are monitoring the situation and everything is on schedule." Cristiano Ronaldo's Al Nassr saw their Asian Champions League match delayed by an hour on Monday after the Saudi-led military coalition said it had intercepted a missile fired towards Riyadh. Three matches in Saudi domestic football, including one involving Al Nassr, were this week postponed. The exhibition Six Kings Slam tennis tournament, due to include Novak Djokovic, Carlos Alcaraz and Alexander Zverev, was pushed back to the end of December. Australia, one of the 24 teams set to play at the Asian Cup, said this week it was "closely monitoring" the situation in Saudi Arabia. The organization representing South Korean players on Thursday said there was "serious concern regarding the safety of all players participating in the Asian Cup." "The ongoing military tensions and security instability in the Middle East are issues that cannot be taken lightly," said Lee Keun-ho, president of the Korea Professional Footballers Association (KPFA), according to Yonhap News Agency. Lee added that "no tournament's value can take precedence over the lives and safety of players and football fans."

NCAA: Generals snap Blazers’ 4-game win streak

MANILA, Philippines — Emilio Aguinaldo College (EAC) overcame a 19-point deficit against College of Saint Benilde, 86-78, to tally its third win in the crossover round of the NCAA Season 102 men’s basketball tournament on Thursday afternoon at the FilOil EcoOil Centre in San Juan City. The EAC Generals came off back-to-back losses at the hands of Jose Rizal University and Mapua University—and showed that they learned their lessons this time after defeating Group A’s top team, Benilde. Down by 19 points at the second quarter, 54-35, the Generals staged a comeback in the third quarter after trimming the lead to just three at the end of the third, 70-73, with Wilmar Oftana, Joseph Nunag, and Harvae Raymundo leading the charge. Heading to the fourth quarter, the Generals opened the frame strong with EJ Castillo scoring a two-pointer followed by Wilmar Oftana’s three to gain the lead, 75-73. From then on, EAC did not look back and did not allow the Blazers to take the upper hand, finishing the match with an 86-78 scorecard. “We like the underdog tag, because it’s true we are 2-5 in the standings heading to this game, and I told them that we should do whatever it takes and overcome any challenges,” head coach Jerson Cabiltes said during the post-game presser. Nunag led the scoring for the Generals with 17 points, five rebounds, and three steals, while veteran Oftana, Jacob Shanoda, and Castillo added 15, 13, and 12 points each. The Blazers were led by Justine Sanchez and John Morales, who both chipped in 16 points, along with Jhomel Ancheta and SJ Moore, who scored 14 and 11 points, respectively, but it was not enough to overcome the Generals. EAC improved to a 3-5 win-loss record in Group B, while the Blazers fell to 6-2.

Anna Leigh Waters sets December return for IAM Worldwide Pickleball Showdown

MANILA, Philippines — Wrapping up an action-packed three-day visit, World No. 1 pickleball champion Anna Leigh Waters officially capped off her Philippine debut on Thursday with a grand press conference at the Dusit Thani Hotel in Makati, while announcing her much-anticipated return to Manila on December 9, 2026. Co-presented by US equipment leader Franklin Sports and premier health and wellness brand IAM Worldwide, the exclusive press luncheon brought together media and sports journalists to celebrate the renowned athlete’s milestone first visit to the country. At just 19 years old, Waters stands as the undisputed World No. 1 in Women’s Singles, Women’s Doubles, and Mixed Doubles.  Fresh off claiming over 200 PPA titles and completing another Triple Gold sweep in the United States, she arrived in Manila as the headline star of the Franklin Asia Pickleball Showcase. Hosted by sportscaster Boom Gonzalez, the press conference highlighted Waters’ key brand engagements. During her segment with Franklin Sports, Waters discussed representing the pioneer equipment brand globally and sharing pro-level technology with local players.  She showcased her Franklin C45° Aurelius Signature Paddle alongside the blacked-out "Franklin Whip" prototype paddle used in her recent tournament victories.  Executives Jared Franklin (Head of International) and John Lynch (Head of Marketing), alongside her parents Stephen and Leigh Waters, joined the media appearance. Concurrently, IAM Worldwide welcomed Waters in her newest role as Global Sports Ambassador. Executive leadership—including President Allen Marvin Yu Eder, Vice President Aika Lorraine Uy, and General Manager Anna Mañego—welcomed the champion, who previously filmed a commercial campaign for the brand in New York City.  Waters demonstrated her daily health regimen using IAM Pure Organic Barley and Choco Barley, and shared IAM Amazing Organic Barley Gummies with the press. During the Q&A session, Franklin Sports outlined upcoming plans to support regional tournaments, youth clinics, and local equipment distribution through major Philippine sports retailers.  Meanwhile, IAM Worldwide executives emphasized that partnering with a World No. 1 athlete actively advances their mission of promoting health and wellness to a wider global audience. The event concluded with a ceremonial photo opportunity and gift exchange, featuring welcome bouquets and the presentation of Franklin ALW Signature Paddles. Following her Manila appearance, Waters continues the Franklin Asia Pickleball Showcase with upcoming stops in Malaysia and Hong Kong.  However, local fans will not have to wait long to see her back in action. Waters officially announced her return to Manila on December 9, 2026, where she will headline the IAM Worldwide Pickleball Showdown at the Smart Araneta Coliseum, an exciting event set to feature some of the country’s biggest celebrities and performers. Rory McIlroy arrives in India with a new fashion style and renewed hope in Race to Dubai finale

NEW DELHI — Since completing the career Grand Slam, Rory McIlroy has been constantly looking for new ways to inject some freshness and spark into his golf. Turns out two of his longtime Ryder Cup teammates are providing some inspiration. For this week’s DP World India Championship, McIlroy has brought along a new look — baggy golf pants. After all, Tommy Fleetwood has been wearing them for a while. “I have watched and I have admired Tommy Fleetwood over the past year,” McIlroy said, with a smile, on Wednesday's DP World Locker Room show about his style that has generated plenty of chatter in New Delhi this week. “And in my everyday life, when I don’t have to wear what is my golf uniform, I wear a lot of wide-legged pants. It is the in-thing, the fashionable thing.” But how, McIlroy was asked, do they feel to play golf in? “These hit a little low, maybe a little short … I understand they are maybe not as well-fitting as they need to be,” he said, “but they are a work in progress.” Also in the works for the Northern Irishman is a replica of what he calls his “performance trailer” that he uses in the United States to aid his fitness and recovery during and between PGA Tour events, in an effort to gain an edge over rivals. Now, he wants one for when he plays on the European tour, too. McIlroy said that idea came from tennis great Novak Djokovic but also fellow golfer Justin Rose. “I decided to pull the trigger on it when Justin won in Memphis last year,” McIlroy said. “He’s 45 years old, playing great, contending in major championships, and at that time I was 36. I was like, I want to play really well for the next 10 years — I feel like I need to do something like this.” McIlroy hopes to have that up and running by the summer of 2027 — by which time, who knows, he might have a record-tying eighth Order of Merit title that crowns the year’s No. 1 player on the European tour. There are four events remaining in this season’s Race to Dubai and McIlroy will play in three of them, starting in India. He is third in the standings, behind Patrick Reed and Eugenio Chacarra, but there's little between the three players and plenty of points on offer in the season-ending events in India, South Korea, Abu Dhabi and finally Dubai. While Reed has stumbled of late thanks to an injury-prompted withdrawal at the BMW PGA Championship and a missed cut at the Spanish Open, Chacarra is finishing fast by climbing above McIlroy thanks to a tie for third at the French Open and a tie for second in Spain. “It’s still anyone’s game,” Reed said Wednesday. The American said he was swinging freely after the shoulder injury he sustained at Wentworth. He didn't play in France or at the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship and returned to shoot 73-71 in Spain, failing to make the weekend. “For me, I was itching about getting back and getting out and playing,” Reed said. “Did I come back too early? Who knows. At the end of the day the good thing is I can’t hurt it worse, and because of that, I have the confidence and the comfort level to come out here and execute and perform at the highest level.”
