Esaiyo and Airlift embark on Joint Venture to co-develop platform to preserve Cultural heritage across South Asia

Denver, Colorado/Kathmandu, Nepal: Esaiyo, a Denver based technology company and Airlift, a Nepalese technology company have joined forces to create a platform and service to preserve the vast cultural heritage of South Asia, beginning in Nepal.

The escalating frequency of climate-induced natural calamities poses a substantial threat to global cultural heritage sites and valuable artifacts. Places such as Venice (Italy), the Andes (South America), the Arctic, California (USA), Maui (USA), Cape Town (South Africa), Thimphu (Bhutan), New Orleans (USA), Kathmandu (Nepal) etc, have witnessed the erasure and deterioration of significant human achievements and cultural symbols due to these environmental upheavals.

According to the 2022 Art Museum Directory Survey, 35% of museum directors reported that their museums have experienced damage from climate change. Between 2017-2019, about 56% of these institutions reported increased damage to collections due to water or moisture.

Esaiyo and Airlift today announced a partnership to create a technology framework to preserve significant cultural heritage sites and objects across South Asia to negate the risks associated with increased risks to humanity’s greatest assets.

Underdog Alas faces tough South Korea

THE Alas Pilipinas men’s national volleyball team faces a steep uphill battle as it opens its 2026 Asian Games campaign against a formidable South Korean squad on Sunday at the Park Arena Komaki in Komaki, Aichi Prefecture, Japan. The game is set at 12 noon (Manila time). Slated in Pool D alongside South Korea, China and Taiwan, Alas Pilipinas must secure at least two victories to finish among the top two in the pool and advance to the quarterfinals. Currently ranked 114th in the world, the underdog Philippine team will need Italian head coach Angiolino Frigoni to work his tactical magic against higher-ranked opponents—South Korea (25th), China (34th), and Taiwan (55th).
