Bitmoji-tek Brings 3D Facial Panoramic Analysis to Cosmobeauté Indonesia 2026

Oct 10, 2026

Shenzhen, Guangdong Province, China, October 10, 2026 -- Three days in Jakarta gave Bitmoji-tek the chance to meet beauty professionals, introduce our latest skin analysis solutions, and have meaningful conversations about the future of professional skincare.

Cosmobeauté Indonesia 2026 came to a close on October 3 at the Indonesia Convention Exhibition (ICE) in BSD City. From October 1 to 3, we joined beauty brands and professionals from Indonesia and other markets at one of the region’s major B2B beauty events.

This time, we brought four devices to the show: the K55, K71, K76, and T3. However, our focus went beyond the products themselves. We wanted visitors to experience a different way of looking at skin through our K Series triple-camera technology and 3D Facial Panoramic Analysis.

A More Complete View of the Skin

The K Series was one of the main highlights of our booth.

The K55, K71, and K76 use triple-camera imaging to capture facial details from multiple angles. This gives professionals a broader view of the face during a skin analysis.

We then take this multi-angle imaging further with 3D Facial Panoramic Analysis.

Instead of looking at individual images separately, the technology brings facial information together into a more complete view. It helps professionals examine key skin indicators from different perspectives and makes complex skin information easier to understand.

For us, this was an important message to bring to Cosmobeauté Indonesia. Skin analysis is not only about taking clearer pictures. It is also about turning those images into useful insights for professional skincare services.

Four Devices, Different Professional Applications

Alongside the K Series, we also showcased the T3 AI Scalp Analyzer.

These devices allowed visitors to explore different approaches to professional skin and scalp analysis. From advanced facial imaging to AI-powered scalp analysis, each product reflects our focus on making professional analysis more detailed and practical.

Rather than simply presenting product specifications, our team spent much of the show talking with visitors about how these technologies could fit into real beauty businesses.

Those conversations covered everything from skin consultation and personalized skincare to the growing role of AI in professional beauty services.

Conversations That Matter

Cosmobeauté Indonesia 2026 brought together around 600 companies and 1,550 beauty brands across a 25,000-square-meter exhibition space. More than 20,000 professional buyers from 17 countries attended the event.

For Bitmoji-tek, however, the value of the show was not only in the numbers.

Meeting professionals face-to-face gave us a closer look at what the Indonesian market is looking for. Visitors asked about our imaging technology, and shared their perspectives on professional skin analysis.

These conversations were especially valuable because they allowed us to understand local needs beyond what we can learn from market data alone.

They also opened the door to new connections and potential cooperation in Indonesia and other Southeast Asian markets.

Continuing to Explore AI Skin Analysis

Cosmobeauté Indonesia 2026 has now come to an end, but our conversations will continue.

The beauty industry is moving toward more personalized and data-driven skincare services. As this shift continues, AI skin analysis can play an increasingly important role in helping professionals understand skin conditions and communicate results with their clients.

At Bitmoji-tek, we will continue exploring how imaging, AI, and 3D analysis can work together to make professional skin analysis more comprehensive and accessible.

Thank you to everyone who visited our booth, experienced our products, and shared your ideas with us in Jakarta.

We look forward to bringing more possibilities in AI skin analysis to the global beauty industry.

EJ Obiena urges better facilities to sustain Philippine sports' golden era

MANILA, Philippines — Olympian EJ Obiena believes Philippine sports are in their golden era, but access to quality facilities remains a major limiting factor for athletes. The two-time Asian Games gold medalist emphasized the critical need for better support during a recent Committee on Sports hearing. “I think sports in general, accessibility is the key. I think Philippine sports are in their golden age right now. We have so many world-class athletes, and I am just very proud that I am part of this era. I hope it gets better and better,” Obiena said.  “I think what’s limiting us is the access to facilities. It is one of the reasons why I train outside, not just because of the knowledge there, but also the current situation of the facilities that we have.” Obiena understood that everyone is trying to upscale the sports program, but compared to the other countries, the scale of support is way too different. “I think everybody is doing their best. I have traveled from quite different countries, and I understand that the support in our country is not as big as what I said. In terms of the general budget…” Obiena trained at the University of Santo Tomas athletics team before he moved to Formia, Italy in 2014 to train under renowned Ukrainian coach Vitaly Petrov. He stayed in Italy for more than a decade, where it shaped him into the first-ever Filipino pole vaulter to compete in the Olympics in 2020. In 2026, Obiena moved to Athens, Greece, where he began training under coach Marcin Szczepanski alongside Emmanouil Karalis. He further shared that he holds a pole vault clinic with the brands he partnered with. A total of 21 young pole vaulters in Ilocos and around 18 in Tagum.  “This is just my small way… Hopefully, this will be an ongoing thing we can sustain… Continuous flow of athletes for our pole vaulting event, because I really want to make Philippines a powerhouse in this event, and hopefully in track and field as well.”

Jahns returns sharper, hungrier for PGT crown at Pueblo

MANILA, Philippines — Keanu Jahns returns to the Philippine Golf Tour with his game a notch sharper and his hunger for victory even greater as he shoots for an elusive win in the circuit’s final stages. The ICTSI Pueblo de Oro Championship unwraps on Oct. 12 in Cagayan de Oro, with Jahns expected to put his long, powerful game to good use on Pueblo de Oro’s open layout and finally break into this year’s PGT winner’s circle. The Fil-German also brings with him a boost in confidence from his recent campaign in the DP World Tour Qualifying, where he came within two strokes of securing one of the coveted Top 13 spots. Although he fell short in the final round in Denmark, Jahns showed he had the game to contend, staying in the hunt through the first three rounds before wavering on the last day. More importantly, the experience gave him a valuable glimpse of the level required to compete on a bigger stage. Jahns hopes to carry that experience – and the lessons gained from it – into Pueblo de Oro, where he seeks to turn another strong showing into the victory that has eluded him this season. A three-time PGT winner last year, including the season-ending Match Play Championship, Jahns has come close in five starts this year but has yet to capture a title. He has posted three Top 5 finishes, highlighted by a third-place effort at Lakewood and a fourth-place finish at Pradera Verde. He also tied for fourth in his most recent PGT appearance at Summit Point before embarking on his bid to reach the lucrative DP World Tour through a series of qualifiers. But Jahns will have plenty of formidable challengers at Pueblo de Oro, where another fiercely contested four-day battle is expected to unfold. The last several PGT legs have produced tight, drama-filled finishes, and the most recent stop in Iloilo was no exception. Jhonnel Ababa endured a tournament-long test of will and character before displaying poise in the stretch run to outmaneuver Jeffren Lumbo and snap a two-year title drought in the circuit organized by Pilipinas Golf Tournaments, Inc. That victory gave the Apo ace added momentum heading into Pueblo de Oro, but a host of other contenders are equally motivated to claim a share of PGT glory with only three legs remaining this season, including the South Pacific and Apo legs, both set in Davao later this month. Aside from Jahns and Ababa, the field features a mix of seasoned champions and emerging contenders led by reigning Order of Merit winner Angelo Que, already a two-time champion this year, and Tony Lascuña, fresh from a pro-am tournament triumph. Former leg winners Rupert Zaragosa, Reymon Jaraula, Guido van der Valk and Lumbo are also expected to contend, along with Negros Occidental first-time champion Art Arbole. Russell Bautista, Ryan Monsalve, Jonas Magcalayo, Jeremy Tandoy and Ivan Yabut, meanwhile, are eager to test themselves against the established names and add more firepower to an already deep field. Foreign bidders Kim Tae Soo, Chonkoo Kang and Lee Song further add to the competitive mix, setting the stage for another high-quality, closely fought championship at Pueblo de Oro. TMT

No first-round bye for projected No. 13 seed Eala at Wuhan

No first-round bye for projected No. 13 seed Eala at Wuhan

MANILA, Philippines — Due to a smaller draw, projected No. 13 seed Alex Eala won't receive a first-round bye at the WTA 1000 Wuhan Open in China. The Filipino tennis ace will compete in the tournament -- her first Tour event after a bronze medal finish at the 20th Asian Games in Japan -- slated from October 12 to 18. Unlike most 1000 events where 96 players make up the field and the top 32 players receive first-round byes, Wuhan is limited to a 56-player draw. In this case, only the top eight get to skip the first round and start their campaign in the second. The same rule applies to the only two other 1000 events with a 56-player draw in Doha and Dubai. Thus, world No. 18 Eala won't have the bye she used to have in previous 1000 events. The 56-player draw -- comprised of 43 direct entrants, 8 qualifiers, 4 widlcards, and 1 special exemption -- is also the reason why Eala had to go through the qualifiers last year. Eala was No. 58 at the time and therefore could not get a direct entry. She lost to Moyuka Uchijima in the first round of the qualifiers last year, 4-6, 6-3, 2-6. This year, Eala is projected to be seeded five places higher than her actual ranking due to the withdrawals of five higher-ranked players. World No. 1 Elena Rybakina (foot), No. 4 and last year's champ Coco Gauff (fatigue), No. 11 Amanda Anisimova (wrist), No. 15 Victoria Mboko (knee), and No. 17 Naomi Osaka (change of schedule) pulled out of the competition. World No. 2 Aryna Sabalenka, No. 3 Jessica Pegula, No. 5 Mirra Andreeva, No. 6 Linda Noskova, No. 7 Elina Svitolina, No. 8 Karolina Muchova, No. 9 Iga Swiatek, and No. 10 Marta Kostyuk made the top eight, in that order, and will be the ones to get first-round byes. The singles draw ceremony was scheduled for Saturday at 4 p.m. After the Asian Games, Eala went to France for Paris Fashion Week on October 5. The 21-year-old also appeared in tennis great Maria Sharapova's podcast "Pretty Tough". Last Thursday, the Wuhan Open shared photos of Eala training already.
