Best Copy Trading Platforms (2021)

Dec 21, 2020

Cryptocurrencies are highly volatile digital assets. The daily highs and lows are far greater in intensity than any other tradable asset. This creates an opportunity for people to capitalize on the gains and mitigate their losses on value shedding. One of the most notable products is the Copy trade. It involves mimicking the trading strategy or moves of another trader. However, in the past, when an investor wants to copy the strategies from other traders, they have to find a signal provider from different trading communities, and then go on a trading platform to trade. Nowadays, many trading platforms have integrated the copy trade function into their products and services, which allows most investors to copy other traders in a more convenient way. Currently, the trading platforms in the market, eToro, ZuluTrade, and Bityard all have launched a copy trade system. eToro eToro is a well-known trading platform that provides Forex trading, Stocks trading, Commodities trading, Indices trading, Cryptocurrency trading, CFDs reading, Index-Based Funds trading, and Exchange Traded Funds (ETF) trading services. It is also a famous platform with distinguished social trading service and is compliant with regulations under the supervisions of the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC), Markets in Financial Instruments Directive (MiFID), Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC).   eToro developed its copy trade system with great social features. Finding a trader to copy on eToro is similar to finding a friend on Facebook. eToro users have personal pages, and can post content and react to other users’ content. On the personal page of a trader, eToro users can find the strategy style and trading history data of the trader, which helps the users decide to copy or not. On eToro, the user discussion focuses on a wide range of asset investment types, and most of the users enjoy the well-designed social environment. For any investor who is seeking a place for social communications and free discussions, eToro is probably a great option. ZuluTrade ZuluTrade focuses mainly on Forex trading services, but also offers Indices, Stocks, Cryptocurrencies and Commodities trading services. Unlike other trading service providers, ZuluTrade provides a platform tied up with many brokers. The minimum deposit and financial regulations are based on different brokers. Compared with eToro, ZuluTrade has very prominent Forex trading services, and the copy trade system of ZuluTrade is also tailor-made for Forex trading. On eToro, traders followed by other users are more diverse, and the user discussion and communication on eToro are more active than most trading platforms. On the contrary, on ZuluTrade, the user discussion is mainly about Forex trading, with higher professionalism, which may be too complicated for beginners. On ZuluTrade, detailed data about the traders will be displayed in order to help other users to find an appropriate trader to copy. On the personal page of a trader on ZuluTrade, trading-related data such as profit, performance, drawdown, and Sharpe ratio will be shown. When a ZuluTrade user wants to copy a trader, the personal pages of traders also provide data of estimated ROI and net P&L for reference. ZuluTrade is a great platform for investors who are into Forex trading for a long term. Bityard Bityard, a relatively young exchange, focuses mainly on crypto-asset trading, and also offers Commodities and Indices services. Furthermore, it will launch US stock trading services shortly. Bityard has obtained legal financial licenses issued by the Business Administration of Singapore (ACRA), the United States Financial Supervisory Authority (MSB), the Australian Transaction Reporting and Analysis Center (AUSTRAC) and the Estonian Financial Regulatory Authority (MTR). Compared with eToro and ZuluTrade, Bityard is quite young. However, it provides professional and rich cryptocurrency trading services, including more than 30 types of crypto spot and more than 15 contract trading options. Popular currencies related to DeFi (decentralized finance) are also available on Bityard, which is a pretty good platform for crypto traders. Another great feature of Bityard is the highly user-friendly UI and trading progress design. Anyone can complete the registration within one minute and start trading in DEMO mode. To open a position in real mode, only five US dollars as margin entry is needed, which is much lower than the minimum requirement of many other platforms. In addition, Bityard copy trade system is quite easy to understand. Any Bityard user can quickly find a trader with a great trading performance and finish the position margin setting to start copying. On Bityard, most people with no financial background can become familiar with crypto investment in a short time. Comparison of three exchanges Conclusion To sum up, each of the three platforms has its own features: eToro is distinguished with its great social features, which create a large-scale trader communication environment; ZuluTrade is a professional platform for Forex trading; Bityard has diverse cryptocurrency trading services such as Contract, Derivatives, and Spot Trading, and it’s one of the best platforms for beginners. However, traders should choose the right platform according to their own needs. Note: This article is for informational purposes only and should not be construed as investment advice. Yolanda Hopkins upsets World No. 3 Gabriela Bryan to reach WSL Championship Tour Philippines Pro quarterfinals

MANILA, Philippines —  World No. 14 Yolanda Hopkins pulled off a major reversal, knocking out World No. 3 Gabriela Bryan to advance to the quarterfinals of the inaugural World Surf League (WSL) Championship Tour Philippines Pro at the iconic Cloud 9 reef break in Siargao on Saturday. Hopkins came through in Heat 2 of the women's competition, posting a combined score of 10.10 from waves worth 5.27 and 4.83 to eliminate the highly-ranked American and arrange a quarterfinal showdown with World No. 6 Caitlin Simmers in the event presented by the Philippine Sports Commission (PSC), with the support of Surigao del Norte Gov. Robert Lyndon Barbers, General Luna Mayor Johnson Sajulga and Vice Mayor Romina Sajulga. Bryan, finished ninth with a total of 7.00, combining scores of 4.00 and 3.00 to collect 2,000 championship points. The competition unfolded under four- to six-foot waves, giving the world's best surfers challenging conditions to display their skills, while calm winds helped maintain a steady lineup. Also making her way into the quarterfinals was Simmers, who dominated fellow American and World No. 11 Caroline Marks in their opening-round encounter. Simmers posted an impressive 15.17 on a 9.00 and a 6.17. Marks could only managed 9.00 from waves scoring 5.50 and 3.50 and likewise settled for ninth place with 2,000 championship points. Beyond her impressive performance, Simmers expressed her admiration for Cloud 9, describing the famed Siargao break as one of her favorite surfing destinations because of the technical challenges and opportunities it offers.  “Honestly, I keep telling people it's one of my favorite waves on the planet because it's just really tight, and you kind of have to do some exciting things in the spaces you get. It's pretty hard to just do your stock-standard couple of turns on it,” said Simmers. The American explained that Cloud 9 demands creativity and precise timing, as its changing sections can force surfers to adjust their approach while looking for opportunities to execute difficult maneuvers. She also singled out the wave's end section as a promising spot for aerial moves, expressing hope that the world's top female surfers would take advantage of the opportunity to showcase their skills. “I think I'm just hoping all the girls do airs because these are the best surfers in the world, best women in the world. And I know every single one of them can do an air on that end section. It's just a matter of timing, really,” she said. Simmers believes the challenging but rewarding nature of Cloud 9 could produce spectacular performances as the competition progresses, particularly with the world's best women surfers battling for a place in the next round. The event is also supported by the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR), Department of Tourism (DOT), Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH), Tourism Infrastructure and Enterprise Zone Authority (TIEZA), and NEA/SIARELCO. Delos Santos sets new junior world records in Ningbo

MANILA, Philippines — Albert Ian Delos Santos finished out of the podium in the 2026 IWF World Weightlifting Championships, but delivered a promising performance by shattering two junior world records in the men’s 70-kilogram (kg) division in Ningbo, China. The 20-year-old Asian Junior champion came off a bronze finish in the 2026 Asian Games in Aichi-Nagoya, Japan, and was not over in setting new records as he eclipsed his previous world junior record He lifted a total of 331kg, built on 144kg in the snatch and 187kg in the clean and jerk. to surpass his previous total lift of 324kg that he made in the Asian Games. He also eclipsed his own record in the clean and jerk of 183kg. To put the 331 kg total into perspective, it is almost equivalent to the weight of a standard grand piano, an average commercial soda vending machine, or about 11 golden retrievers. First Filipina Olympic gold medalist Hidilyn Diaz formerly lauded Delos Santos and knew that he was meant to reach greater heights “Ian is one of our future Olympian gold medalist in the Philippines, as you can see he’s a junior world record holder, then he won here at 20 years old, competing in Asian Games, and it’s his first time,” Diaz told the media during Delos Santos bronze finish in Asiad.   “He is one of a kind, and I can’t describe how brave he is,” she added. North Korea took the top two spots, with Pak Pyol winning gold with a world-record total of 355 kilograms, while Ri Won Ju took silver with 343 kg, and China’s He Baozhen rounded out the podium with bronze, lifting 339 kg. Although he fell short of a medal, Delos Santos delivered one of the competition’s standout performances, improving his own junior records against some of the world’s top lifters. Delos Santos is expected to move up to the 75-kilogram category for the IWF qualifying competition in Qatar in December as he continues his international campaign.
